Урок входит в цикл уроков по теме «Learning more about London».

Цели и задачи урока:

Образовательные:

активизация навыков устной речи по теме;

активизация навыков аудирования;

формирование грамматических навыков (настоящее завершенное время);

Развивающие:

активизация произносительных навыков;

активизации настоящего завершенного времени в устной речи;

прививать интерес к культуре, традициям, достопримечательностям англоязычных стран.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Введение учащихся в иноязычную культуру.

Teacher: Good morning. I am glad to see you! How are you?

What season of the year is it now?

What is the weather like in autumn?

What can you do in autumn?

II. Основная часть.

Ознакомление учащихся с целями и задачами урока.

Teacher: Of course we can travel in autumn. And today I invite you to travel.

Where would you like to travel?

Today we are going to travel to London. So the theme of our lesson is ״Travelling to London ״

1. Фонетическая зарядка.

Teacher: Before travelling let's do phonetic exercises.

Listen to me and repeat after me. 

[әe] – travel, capital, gallery, abbey

[ei] – play, place, stadium, famous

[ju:] – museum, beautiful, usually

[i] – big, different, symbol

[a:] – park, partner, parliament

2. Речевая зарядка.

Teacher: Well done. We start our trip. And of course we must prepare our trip.

We must get information about the country, book and buy tickets, hotels, pack our things. Let's work

Some of you will be our guides. You have to prepare an excursion for us. We are the tourists and you need read, understand and find out the main information about these sights and then speak. about them. You have only 6 minutes.

The next group should buy tickets and book a hotel. Make up dialogues using these expressions and words. You have 3 minutes.

(Класс делится на четыре группы: первая группа работает с текстами и готовит монологическое высказывание о достопримечательностях Лондона; вторая группа составляет диалоги, третья и четвертая группы выполняют лексические упражнения. Учитель работает с третьей и четвертой группами)

4. Активизация навыков устной речи.

Teacher: Nice job! Our tourists are ready to book hotels and buy tickets.

Teacher: We have bought tickets? Have booked our hotel. Imagine you are in London now. Let's do sightseeing tour around London.

Listen to our guides attentively you have to do some exercises.

(Учащиеся первой группы выходят к доске и рассказывают о достопримечательностях Лондона по упр. 16, стр. 65)

Teacher: We have visited Big Ben, The Tower of London, The Houses of Parliament, Wesminster Abbey. Now look at the map of London in your student's books (ex. 21, p. 67) find and name new places.

(Учащиеся называют новые достопримечательности)

Teacher: Terrific! We are still in London. We have already visited many places of interest, have made photos? Do you remember the information about them? Let's check.

6. Совершенствование навыков чтения по теме «London».

Teacher: Well, we are going on travelling. And you are going to read about two new places: Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge. Put the sentences in the right order and read the text aloud. You have 4 minutes.

(Учащиеся ставят предложения в логический порядок, а затем зачитывают вслух).

7. Проектная деятельность учащихся.

Teacher: Well done. Imagine you invite some foreign students to Russia, for example Lisky. What would you like to show them?

8. Совершенствование грамматических навыков.

Teacher: It's time to remember English tenses. You will read the sentences and choose only one variant.

9. Ознакомление учащихся с настоящим совершенным временем.

Teacher: So we know different English tenses. And we shall learn the new one.

It is Present Perfect. Will you open your books, page 112, exercise 28

(Учитель объясняет правило, обращая внимание, что для образования времени нужен вспомогательный глагол have/has и третья форма смыслового глагола).

10. Первичное закрепление.

Teacher: I want you to read 4 forms of the verbs from exercise 29, page 112.

Now you will make up and translate the sentences from exercise 32, p.113

III. Подведение итогов.

Teacher: Time is up. Our lesson is over.

IV. Домашнее задание.

Teacher: Open your books and write your home task.
